More Photoshop Slavery

Stormy, here's the distorted photo and the undistorted. I had to redo the image. The source picture is of a much younger girl. Anyone else with an opinion please chime in. A or B?

Photoshop Will Eat Your Soul.

I've been prepping SM for a print edition through Lulu. This is a possible cover for it. I did it today. I think I need to let it sit for a bit and look at it again after NOT staring at it for six hours straight. If you find it hideous or laughable, please let me know because I no longer have free will or sound judgement. Photoshop controls me.

And yes, I'm thinking about using my real name.

Blog of Note - The Daily Tale

Thought some might be interested in this Blog of Note. I think it's the first fiction blog Blogger has given the distinction to: The Daily Tale

I wish the writer had used line breaks or indentation for his posts. It's not easy to read as is, but the fact that he's been tagged by Blogger is heartening. Here's hoping Blogger keeps stumbling upon and promoting fiction on blogs.

My First Bad Comment

Got my first bad comment over at Scary Mary. An anon wrote, "This has become so unrealistic I suggest that anyone who is still reading this read another fantasy book like Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, and it's also young adult. Trust me its a great vampire romance novel." Link.

I had to really bite my tongue when I got this comment because I'm not exactly a Meyer fan. I've only read Twilight, and will not continue reading that series. I know A LOT of people have fallen in love with that series, so talking trash about it would probably go ill for me. But I feel if this person really likes Meyers and doesn't like me, it's okay. Seems pretty logical actually. I'm not saying people can't like both our works because people probably do, but I'm not going to beat myself up about this reader being unhappy with my work. His/her tastes are clearly different from mine.
