Update

As promised, here is an update on my so far untitled Unicorn Bait Sequel. I am on course to write 50,000 words. I'm doing pretty good, but it is tough to write 1600 words everyday. Sometimes it just feels like there isn't time! It doesn't help that the month of November seems to conspiring against me and jamming a lot of unexpected events in. But I've broken into the five figures which is a really great accomplishment.

The text is no where near polished, but there are bits of it that I am quite amused with. The humor is definitely back for the sequel. Working with all of these characters again is great. I'm really grateful to everyone who said they'd love a sequel. I had not planned to do one but I'm glad I am now.

If you're curious, Stalking Shadows is in my estimation doing well on Amazon, though I am amused by Amazon.uk being the much more robust market. I've sold four times as many copies there as on Amazon.com. I'm not sure why that is. Scary Mary was been downloaded quite a bit on the Amazon.uk site as well.

Stalking Shadows still hasn't been approved for the premium catalog on Smashwords so it is not on BN.com or in the iBookstore. It hasn't been rejected either so that's good. I saw on a forum recently that it generally takes 9 days for a submission to be approved for the premium catalog so it should go through any day now. Then it should appear on the other eBook sites a week or more later. It varies by retailer of course. Of course, this is all assuming it is approved, but I don't believe there is any problem with the upload. As far as I can tell, I did everything necessary to it.

And I am still taking requests for the Unicorn Bait sequel. I'd appreciate title suggestions too, though I know I haven't given any details about the plot. Here's what I can tell you: Naomi has to save Tavik AGAIN. Except it's not Errilol she's facing this time. The enemy is much worse. And I'm afraid to say anymore. Well, I'll keep updating that word count widget, and I'll write again in a week or less.

Thanks!

I'm so excited you're doing a sequel to Unicorn Bait! I just finished Stalking Shadows and loved it. I'm about to start Unicorn Bait and will be glad to know a sequel will be there (or soon) when I'm done. Your writing is terrific-it really pulls me in!

Julieta,

I hope you're a slow reader. It will be some months yet until I publish a new book. I hope you enjoy Unicorn Bait!

I just finished reading Unicorn Bait and it's amazing! You have such a good imagination and the book is fun to read. I'm happy to get to read it and glad to hear about the sequel. I hope you finish the book soon but don't rush just for it to come out. I'll be patiently waiting :)
Ps. It'll be great if I know what happened after the "So what would you like to get the feeling back in first?" lol..
Damn I wish it didn't end up just like that ^_^

Yeah, that fade to black was pretty evil. I am hard at work on the sequel. I'll be so happy once it's published!

I can't wait for the sequel. I'm not an avid book reader, but unicorn bait sucked me in and I want more.

Wolfdogz,

I'm so sorry for taking so long to reply. I'm working on (another) edit of Unicorn Bait and that has stalled the sequel a bit as I hash out a few things. I still plan to put Dragon Prey out sometime this year.

Will any of your books ever make it to paper back. I sure hope so. I would love to buy the paper back versions for my library.

Funny you should mention that, Anonymous. I am working on paperback editions. Scary Mary will be the first. I'm trying to go over the text again and am designing a new cover. It shouldn't be long before it comes out. Maybe a month or two at most. Thanks!
