NaNoWriMo 2012!

It's that time of year again. I will once again be participating in NaNoWriMo. What will I be working on? Anything and everything. Since I have not finished Long Dead or Dragon Prey in time, I will work on those as well as a new project that I was intending to use as my nano this year.

I need to generate words like a fiend, and I find that working with a group of others with a similar mindset really helpful. I'm hopeful that I'll finally break through the writer's block that has stymied me with Long Dead. I have the opposite problem with Dragon Prey right now. I can't seem to stop writing that story. I'd thought up an ending, at least I thought it was the ending, but Tavik and Naomi decided otherwise, and now I'm trying to figure out when it will end. It's going to be happily ever after, but I'm having trouble getting to the happily part. Tavik's being a real drama queen. Just don't tell him I said that.

So excited for your writing goals! Can't wait to see what Naomi and Tavik get up to.

Thanks, Anon. I surpassed my goal for the first day by working on the new project, but just for you, I'm going to open Dragon Prey and see if I can add a few sentences.

I'm ecstatic for another book, strange enough I've put off going to the library to read your books again!
either way my school library's books have no appeal to me.
And might I ask, if you want to make a threequel to Dragon Prey (wait a minute, I just realized, Unicorn=Dragon, Bait=Prey...) you could end the book in "To be Continued"

An eager reader, Kelly (same as the Kelly who commented on Unicorn Bait)

I have wondered why one would choose to write books. Then I think about those in the past who have written pieces of poetry. Authors of books seem to get their works recognized a bit sooner then those who have written poetry.
If I may request an long ago did you start writing.
